Imagine an emerging country where all underprivileged children and students could easily access a good training center close to their home at a cheap price.   Our vision is nothing less than a nationwide education network in which many professional trainings would be available “on line” free of charge.

angroneabThis calls for two major thrusts:

  • More training content creation: in order to progress despite our limited resources, we want to propose to partner with NGO’s operating in the children education sector and propose them to record their best teachers’ trainings and store them on a common database. In doing so, each one would be in a position to access others trainings, i.e. retrieve more than they contributed and the multimedia database will grow regularly.
  • Reaching out to isolated areas requires access to some telecommunications backbone, i.e. radio towers and frequency spectrum. This is where our Wireless Communications training comes into play. We are establishing a three party partnership with a local Telecom operator and an international finance institution to deploy the concept and connect training centers nationwide. The operator gives access to his infrastructure (radio towers and frequencies), Connected Schools and CIST train the students who will be taken as interns (and likely hired) by the operator, and the grants provided by the finance institution will pay for the radio equipment. And who would be more motivated than our Telecommunications students to connect their home town school to this education network as part of their internship?
